This three days gorilla safari is three days and 2 nights to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and lake Bunyonyi. Bwindi is a UNESCO world heritage site with the biggest number of mountain gorillas in uganda. It has trekking sectors such as; Ruhija, rushaga, nkuringo and buhoma.
The destinations in this gorilla safari in uganda are; the equator, bwindi impenetrable forest national park and lake Bunyonyi the highlight for the experience are as follows;
Day 1: road trip to bwindi in our 4×4 vehicle, stop at the equator and igongo cultural centre for cultural immersions
Day 2: experience thr thrill of gorilla trekking, later head to lake Bunyonyi for community walks
Day 3: transfer from lake Bunyonyi back to kampala/Entebbe.

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park
Our experienced safari guide will commence off your gorilla safari in uganda by picking you up from your hotel either in Entebbe or uganda in our reliable and well maintained 4×4 of your choice, we have a variety of them.
Set off for the road trip experience which is approximately 11 hours, 502 kilometers via the kampala masaka and kabale to Mbarara highway. While on the journey you will go through the interesting native communities , markets, craft centres and so on.
Since it’s a long journey, stop overs are inclusive. You will have a stop over at kayabwe, the equator of uganda for photography another stop over is the igongo cultural centre for lunch and cultural imeersions
Arrival in bwindi, overnight in windi impenetrable forest national park
Accommodation: deluxe/luxury: haven lodge in buhoma, chameleon hill lodge, mid range: gorilla mist camp, ichumbi lodge
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park & Transfer to lake Bunyonyi
You long awaited experience of trekking the endangered mountain gorilla starts here. Early in the morning, have breakfast while at the lodge and our safari guide will pick you up and drive you the the park headquarters for a pre briefing before the gorilla trekking starts.
Here you will be given the guidelines for the trekking, that is to ay, the dos and donts while trekking the mountain gorillas. After briefing, you are divided into trekking groups of 8 and given a game ranger to lead you through the encounter.
The gorilla trekking activity lasts between 2 to 8 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. Upon finding them, you are strictly given one hour to interact with them while observing the set guidelines. After completion a certificate is issued out to you
Drive to lake Bunyonyi through the Kigezi highlands. Aririval at lake Bunyonyi in the afternoon, checking in at the lodge, relaxation on a boat ride, dinner and over night in Bunyonyi

Day 3: Transfer Back to Kampala
